Survival and health of the preterm newborns (in Ukraine annually occur nearly of 20 thousands of cases) depend on the timely diagnostics of the premature birth and gestational age, reasons, and complications related towards the functional immaturity. The lecture contains the issues related towards the prevention, treatment, and survival of the preterm children. Along with the revelation of the issues of prematurity, the work discusses the peculiarities of feeding performance of the preterm infants.
